    Thomas Wilhelmsen, Chair

    Mr. Thomas Wilhelmsen has several years of experience from the Wilhelmsen group, where he has had a variety of positions including regional director Europe in Wilhelmsen Maritime Services AS and group vice president of shipping, as well as managing director of Tudor AS’ investments in Australia.

    Bio  Thomas Wilhelmsen

    He was deputy CEO from 2009 until he became group chief executive officer of Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding on 1 October 2010.

    Thomas Wilhelmsen holds a Master of Arts in Business Organisation from the Herriot-Watt University in Scotland, in addition to a number of courses from other universities, including the Programme for Executive Development at IMD, Switzerland.

    Thomas Wilhelmsen is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Oslo, Norway.

    Bio Christian Berg

    Christian Berg has a degree in economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, Norway.  From 2001 until 2006 he was CFO in Hafslund, followed by the position as CEO in Hafslund from 2006 to 2012. Mr. Berg joined Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA as group CFO on 1 April 2016, coming from a role as Senior Partner at HitecVision.

    Mr. Berg is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Bærum, Norway.

    Mrs. Marianne Lie has studied Law and Political Science at the University of Oslo. Mrs. Lie runs her own advisory business, Fajoma Consulting AS.

    Marianne Lie is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Ski, Norway.

    Mrs. Agerup has almost 30 years of experience. She has more than 20 years of experience from the maritime industry.

    Bio Benedicte Bakke Agerup

    Mrs Agerup holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration (“siviløkonom”) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, Norway, and has participated in the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

    Mrs Agerup is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Oslo, Norway.

    Senior management positions and current directorships

    Mrs Agerup has held senior management positions within treasury, strategy and finance at the Wilhelmsen group and was CFO of Wilh Wilhelmsen ASA for several years. Her experience outside the Wilhelmsen group includes being CFO at KLP Insurance as well as risk management advisor at DNB.

    Mrs. Agerup is currently CEO of Laho AS and also a board member across a wide range of companies, including Puregas AS, Helseapps AS, Bulk Invest ASA, Scanship AS and Scanship Holding ASA.

    Magnus A. K. Sande, Chief executive officer

    Mr. Sande has 16 years of experience from strategy, M&A and investments both from the advisory and investment side.

    Mr. Sande joined Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics AS in 2009 as Manager Business Development and M&A. In 2010 Mr. Sande moved to Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA as Head of M&A. In 2013 he became VP, Head of Strategy and M&A.


     Prior to joining the Wilhelmsen group, Sande worked as a corporate finance advisor and was Partner in Alfred Berg ABN AMRO and a senior advisor in Pareto Securities.

    Mr. Sande holds a MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees and a BSc Finance and a BA Business Administration from University of Utah.


    He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Bærum, Norway.

    Mr. Morten Lertrø joined Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA in 2009 as VP, Head of Portfolio Management. In 2013 he became VP, Head of Treasury and Portfolio Management in Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA. He has 20 years of experience from investment, risk and treasury management, starting his career as Portfolio Manager at AS Toluma and joined Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA from General Investments Deutschland as a Senior Portfolio Manager.
    Morten Lertrø holds a university degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) from Universität zu Köln, Germany, specializing in Finance and Energy and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Bærum, Norway.
